Spun out of #301 (2026-08-21): Version and Updates do not belong in Storage & quotas — storage shows storage information only.

Scope:

New admin topic Overview (or "Updates") at the top of the admin rail: instance version, uptime/basic facts, and an Updates row ("Up to date" + green ✓ current badge / "vX.Y.Z available" + accent badge).
Update check needs a release feed the instance can reach: configurable updates.feedURL (default: the public release feed once #27 makes the GitHub mirror public; dogfood can point at Forgejo's releases API). Offline/air-gapped instances: check disabled gracefully, row shows version only — never an error.
Check at most once per day, cached in runtime state; no telemetry beyond the single feed GET.

Design brief only — mockup-first when picked up.

Closing — the Overview and Updates admin topics exist and the Overview facts table shows the running version (v0.6.61, #304), with the update check under Updates. Storage no longer carries version/update rows (#301). Satisfied.
