Request (2026-08-21, Nikola): mockups approved 2026-08-21 with one change (no Version/Updates rows in storage — see #TBD Overview issue).

Avatar dropdown:

Storage line becomes a section: text label ("Storage: X of Y") + slim teal fill bar (6px, rounded, --glacier-deep fill on --lichen track) underneath.
Hairline divider above (after Help) and below (before Sign out), subtly separating the storage section.

Administration → Storage & quotas, Usage tab:

Bordered usage card: "Usage" left, "X of Y" right (bold), fill bar underneath — same bar style as the dropdown.
Bordered info table below with ONLY storage-relevant rows: Driver, Endpoint (mono), Bucket, Encryption. No Version, no Updates — instance-level info moves to a future admin Overview topic.
Read-only footnote: configured in the server config file, connected at boot; changing the backend of a populated instance is a data migration, not a setting.

Limits tab restyle:

Bordered rows: uppercase label left, right-aligned bordered input right (PER-USER QUOTA (GB), INSTANCE ALLOWANCE (GB)).
"0 = no limit…" hint below, teal Save button.

Fidelity diff against the approved mockup before ship per house process.

Shipped as v0.6.60 (PR #303), live on both dogfoods.

What changed (per approved mockups, with your review change applied — no Version/Updates rows in storage):

Avatar menu: storage is now a section — usage text with a teal fill bar underneath, hairline dividers above and below. The bar shows only when a per-user quota is set (the 2 GB on enc qualifies); with no quota the section shows just the used amount, and if quota info is unavailable the whole section (including its divider) disappears.
Storage & quotas → Usage: bordered usage card ("Usage" left, "X of Y" right, fill bar) + bordered table with storage-only rows: Driver, Endpoint (mono), Bucket, Path (posix only), Encryption. Version and update status removed — they live under Overview/Updates (#302 tracks polish there).
Limits: bordered rows with right-aligned inputs; hint + teal Save unchanged.

Dogfood checklist:

Avatar menu: bar fills ~11% at 212 MB / 2 GB; dividers above and below the section
Admin → Storage & quotas → Usage: card with bar + amount right; table shows Driver/Endpoint/Bucket/Encryption only (no Version, no Updates)
Endpoint renders in mono
Footnotes: config-source sentence + the read-only migration note
