Copy review outcomes (recorded on the issue): audRecKeepN English approved; denied · <reason> chip prefix blessed; locale shapes kept pending the planned translation deep-dive.

The build half (variant A, precise wording chosen by Nikola): audit.Info() gains cutoff (YYYY-MM, same formula as pruneLocked, empty at retention 0), and the Retention row now reads "Kept for {n} months. Month files before {m} are removed when a new month's first event is recorded." ×4 locales — naming both the concrete boundary and the lazy trigger, so neither needs a handbook trip. Micro-deviation from the mockup, recorded: the row renders via textContent, so the month is plain text rather than mono.
